If it was not for my friend Anil, I would not have found out about Algorizin. I’m quite happy I did though!
Before finding my way here, I was hitting the rock bottom of my life. From graduating at a time when the entire world was collapsing to pressure from back to home to return, it was all very difficult to deal with. At the same time, I had very little time left to work on my visa status. But just then, on the very first day of my enrollment, Algorizin helped me with my OPT extension!
And thus began my journey at Algorizin. Something very commendable about the organisation would be their drive to make all immigrants feel at home in this foreign land. Their community is very empowering and helpful every step of the way.
I went from not knowing coding to learning how to code in 6 months, which is 50% of what my job entails now. All thanks to the mentors at the organisation. They were highly supportive and always encouraging.
I believe the team I was a part of at Algorizin was a very motivated one, the team not only helped make the process of job hunt easier and less stressful but also gave me peers who I still am in touch with!
Overall, it was not just an experience, it was a story. It was a story they helped me write, where in the end, I landed a job in an organisation where I am the only immigrant! One step at a time, let’s do this Algorizin!
