3) Interview Mastery
Technical interviews (prep frameworks with UMPIRE)
If you are in Tech, Engineering, or Finance, you will have a skills test. For coders, this is often a Whiteboard or Live Coding session. Don't just start typing. Use the UMPIRE framework: Understand the problem (ask questions), Match it to a pattern, Plan your solution, Implement (write the code), Review (check for bugs), Evaluate (can it be faster?). The interviewer cares more about how you think than if your code is 100% perfect. Talk out loud while you work!
An interview is a marathon. You need to keep your energy high from the first minute to the last.
- Listen more than you speak. If you talk for 5 minutes without stopping, you’ve lost them. Aim for 2-minute answers. At the end, always have 3-4 smart questions ready for them, like: "What does success look like in this role after 6 months?"
- Within 24 hours, send a Thank You Email. Mention something specific you discussed. This shows you were paying attention and that you are truly excited about the job. This "small touch" often turns a "Maybe" into a "Yes."

4) Offer Evaluation & Negotiation
Getting a job offer is a huge win, but your work isn't done yet! In the U.S., an offer letter is a legal contract. You need to understand every word of it because once you sign, it is very hard to change.
Think of this as the final math stage of your journey. Here is how to make sure you get a fair deal.
